The intermediate station Banderas is part of the TransMilenio mass-transit system of Bogotá, Colombia, which opened in the year 2000.

The station is located in southwestern Bogotá, specifically on Avenida de Las Américas with Transversal 75, near the Monumento a las Banderas (Monument to the Flags).

In 2003, the Las Américas line was extended from Américas Carrera 53 A to Transversal 86, including this station. Feeder routes were added at the beginning of 2004.
The station is named Banderas due to the nearby monument with the flags of the nations of the Americas.
