Bandana Square
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Bandana Square is an office center, and a former small enclosed shopping center in the Energy Park industrial park in Saint Paul, Minnesota. It includes a Best Western hotel and conference center and the Twin City Model Railroad Club museum, as well as a few restaurants. It was a conversion of early twentieth century railroad buildings (the Northern Pacific Como Shops) in 1984, and was intended to be a festival marketplace, though it was never especially successful, and has been transformed for the most part into office space. The Minnesota Children's Museum moved from Bandana Square to downtown Saint Paul in 1995, taking with it many visitors. The site is in the National Register of Historic Places.
