Banda Jerez

La Banda Jerez (officially La Número Uno Banda Jerez) is one of the most popular Mexican bandas. La Banda Jerez's hits include "Billete Verde" and "Una Mujer Casada". The band was named after Jerez de García Salinas, Zacatecas, Mexico, where it was founded. Some of Banda Jerez's albums have been marked as containing explicit content because some songs contain controversial words and phrases. However, Banda Jerez has also produced many re-singings of traditional ranchera songs.
The band ensemble consists of 3 clarinets, 3 trumpets, 3 trombones, a tambora, a tarola, a tuba, 2 saxophones, and 3 singers.
