Band of Brothers: E Company, 506th Regiment, 101st Airborne from Normandy to Hitler's Eagle's Nest is a factual account by historian Stephen Ambrose of the exploits of Easy Company, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division of the United States Army during their training and the latter days of World War II. It was made into a 10 part television mini-series by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks.
