Bampton, Oxfordshire

Bampton, sometimes Bampton-in-the-Bush is a village and civil parish in the West Oxfordshire district of Oxfordshire, England, located six miles south of Witney. It is in the Thames Valley and is considered as part of the Cotswolds.
The parish church is St Mary the Virgin.
According to the 2001 census it had a population of 2,505. The parish also includes the hamlet of Weald.
