From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Bamboo Island, Cambodia, is a small island situated about 10 km from the port city of Sihanoukville, in southern Cambodia. It is also known as Koh Russei.

It has been described by some visitors who have visited it in the past two years as a natural sanctuary, with aquamarine-colored waters and no pollution. It is being developed as a model for sustainable community.[citation needed]
