[edit] Edits

If you feel that this article needs some sort of work, feel free to do so. I know it is very long, so if anyone wants to shorten it, they are welcome to. Should I remove the film-stub from the bottom? Nick L. 04:42, 6 August 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Historical Accuracy

"The medicine did not actually go by train from Anchorage to Nenana. The first of the teams to set off on the relay actually started from Anchorage."

According to the sources in the 1925 serum run to Nome article, the sled dog relay did indeed start in Nenana. DMAJohnson 19:17, 5 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Awards

I have had to remove the Category:Best Song Oscar and Category:Best Song Oscar Nominee from the article. A check of the 1996 Academy Awards shows that "Reach for the Light" was not nominated. Also, "Reach for the Light" did not win a Grammy at the 1996 Grammy awards. I removed that entry as well. --Coaster1983 02:56, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
