Balkans Cup

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

For the national team tournament, see Balkan Cup.

In 1961, a Balkans Cup for clubs from Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, Romania, Turkey, and Yugoslavia was introduced. It was played (at least) 27 times. The competition never carried much importance in the countries concerned, in contrast to the (much older but also discontinued) Balkan Cup for national teams.
