Bal Bharati Public School

Bal Bharati Public School is one of the oldest schools in Delhi, established in 1944.

The head branch being located at Pusa Road, the branches at Pitam Pura, Noida, Dwarka and Rohini also well known for their quality education and excellence in various fields. The Bal Bharati chain of schools is managed by the Child Education Society.

Discipline and creative learning have been the principles behind craving out successful Bal Bharatians. Students find their way into good graduation colleges all across North India. The schools have an excellent infrastructure for co-curricular activities. Sports is heavily encouraged. There are cricket and field hockey grounds, swimming pool, table tennis Halls and badminton, basketball, volleyball and tennis courts.

The school provides for professional coaches for all the above and Yoga and Aerobics trainers as well. For every student to develop all round, morning sport are a compulsory activity for everyone. The school also provides interested students opportunities to learn various arts : Dance, Music, Painting, Sculpture etc.

The school organises its Annual Day in the month of November and also celebrates Independence Day, Republic Day and many festivals belonging to many cultures.

All students belong to one of the four houses. Regular competitions in sport, debating, quizzing and drammatics are held weekly as inter-house events. At Bal Bharati Pitam Pura, those houses are named upon four ascetics/spiritual leaders: Kabir, Vivekanand, Gurunanak and Dayanand. Also, each house organises its house functions biannually and regular meetings of each house, called Bal Sabha take place regularly, involving techers and students from the house. Over the past 11 years, Gurunanak house has been the winner of the Annual Best House Trophy based upon its performance throughout the year.

The School has now expanded its branches to many parts of the country.
