[edit] NPOV dispute

This article appears to be a pro-windpower advertisement combined with a family history. The majority of this information is not NPOV, and is not notable.

The user who wrote the article is User:Tim.bakke, who, based on the username, may be a Bakke family member. Sections of this article read like a Bakke family history, such as this:

During World War II, five brothers served in the United States Armed Forces. The brothers' parents emigrated from Bergen, Norway in 1925 with their daughter, Borgny (affectionately nicknamed Bunny), and their sons Oscar, Erving, and Hans. The births of Roald (Roy) and Harold would soon follow in Brooklyn, New York.

What does that have to do with an encyclopedia article about a small mountain in Florida, Massachusetts? Econrad 05:01, 29 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] AfD

This page is simply an ad for Hoosac Wind. See http://www.hoosacwind.com/views_bakke.html

The fact that Hoosaic Wind has allowed its content to be copied to WIkipedia is irrelevant, this is a POV advertisement.

Previous deletion tag was deleted by User:Tim.bakke without following proper procedure.

[edit] Please do not remove NPOV tag without discussion

User:38.117.139.110 reverted the NPOV tag without any discussion or improvement to the article. Please discuss the issue here before removing this tag. Econrad 18:39, 27 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Trying to achieve neutrality

I'm Being Bold, and taking my best shot at making this article neutral. As previously noted, this article was essentially a cut-and-paste from The Hoosac Wind official site. Econrad 04:34, 28 January 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for your boldness! I am removing the NPOV tag, as your edits have made the article much more neutral. -- Irixman (t) (m) 19:45, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
