Bakersfield Station is an Amtrak station in Bakersfield, California on the San Joaquins. It is the fifth busiest Amtrak station and the twelfth busiest train station in the United States.

The station offers checked baggage, Amtrak Express, ticket sales, free parking, and a large air conditioned waiting room. One of the two railway platforms are sheltered, and the station also has 14 bus bays.

The station opened with a celebration on July 4, 2000, replacing a smaller station 0.9 miles to the west, because that station was too far from downtown (Jim Costa spoke and Buck Owens performed at the event). The older station was built in 1974. It had a storage area for two trains, whereas the new station can store three.
