Omar Albert Domingo Bainto (born June 15, 1992 in Calgary, Alberta) was born in the Peter Lougheed Hospital. He is currently a grade 9 student at St. Martha School, born and raised in Calgary, Alberta (parents Bert Bainto and Shelley Bainto). Bainto has done volunteer work at various places helping the community and working towards the Bronze portion of the "Duke of Edinburgh Award." He has been involved in BMX, Air Cadets, St. John Ambulance, and many other activities. Omar is an only child living with his mother and father.

Bainto is of partial Asian descent. His heritage is Filipino, German and some Scotish. The name "Omar" means "First Born Son."
