"Rhythm Divine" (1999) |
"Bailamos" (Literally in English: "We Dance", or in this case: "Let's Dance") is a 1999 hit single for Enrique Iglesias, which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100. It was featured in the soundtrack to the film Wild Wild West. It encouraged people to "let the rhythm take [them] over."
In the United States, the song was part of a wave of crossover music from Latin American singers, led by Ricky Martin. The success of "Bailamos" was a breakthrough for Iglesias which enabled him to sign a multi-album deal with Interscope.
