Baidh are the doctors of Indian Ayurveda (The ancient Indian medical science).
The word "BAIDH" is wrong. In fact the word is "VAIDYA",an expert, which practices AYURVEDIC SYSTEM OF MEDICINE / AYURVED / INDIAN SYSTEM OF MEDICINE. At modern era, the word VAIDYA is convereted to DOCTOR / PHYSICIAN. The essential qualities of Vaidya are four [a]SHASHTRA PARANGATATA, that means he should be well expertise in Ayurvedic science and practice [b] BAHU DARSHITA, that means ,he should have well experience, knowledge and capacity of observation [c] CHATURATA, that means, he should be ingenious, inventive, original and tactful [d] PAVITRATA, that means, he should be of pure heart, honest, incorrupt and of saintly behaviour.
These qualities are said in the classical literature of Ayurved.
