Bahman (Modern Persian: بهمن‎) is the name of 11th month in Iranian calendar. It is also the name of an angle in Zoroastrian religion and a Persian name for men. The word is a shortened version of Vahu Mana, a Zoroastrian Avestan and Vedic phrase meaning "Good Mind". Vahu Mana is also the root for the word "Human" in current English.

Bahman also directly translates to the word avalanche in Persian.
