Bahaddin Haziyev

Bahaddin Haziyev is a Azerbaijani journalist and editor in chief of an opposition newspaper in Azerbaijan. He head the newspaper "Bizim Yol" which means Our Path in Azeri. He is also the deputy chairman of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (PFPA).
On May 18, 2006 he was beaten by five unknown men in two cars, they blocked him while he was driving home, dragged him out of his car, and took him to the outskirts of Baku, where they beat him unconscious. Local residents brought him to hospital. At the moment he is in intensive care in Baku. [1]
