Bag Lady

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Bag Lady is a song from singer Erykah Badu's 2000 album Mama's Gun. She sampled the song "Xplosive" off of Dr. Dre's 1999 album 2001. The song is about a woman trying to begin anew in a relationship but she has too much emotional "baggage", and can't get close to people. The moral of the sing is to "pack light", and have hope for the future.
