The Badoon are a reptillian alien species in the fictional Marvel Comics universe. They are notable for having a gender schism, resulting in two separate societies; the Brotherhood of Badoon (ruled by a 'Brother Royal') and the Sisterhood of Badoon (ruled by a Queen).
The Brotherhood live on the planet Moord, while the Sisterhood reside on the Badoon homeworld, Lotiara.

Planet: Lotiara, "Swampworld," second from sun. The males have migrated to another planet, Moord, location unknown.
- Habitat: .84 surface covered with water, most of land is semi-tropical swampland.
- Gravity: .87 Earth
- Atmosphere: 1.34 Earth density, tropical humidity.
- Population: 40 million on each world
- Physical Characteristics:

- Special adaptations: A Badoon mates only once. The females lay eggs which are incubated on the males' homeworld.

- Level of technology: Although older than the Kree and Skrulls, the Badoon were late in developing technology. They now have interstellar ships.
- Cultural traits: The males are militaristic, while the females are pacifistic and advanced culturally.
- Names of representatives: The Brother Royale.
Note: The Badoon conquered the Earth of an alternate future in 3007AD, but were finally expelled in 3015AD by a rebellion led by the Guardians of the Galaxy.

The Badoon are older than the Kree and the Skrulls, meaning their development occurred around 3,500,000 BC. There was a natural hatred between the two genders, and they fought each other in long gender wars. Eventually, the males won, placing the females in captivity. In time, the males developed technology and abandoned Lotiara, returning only when their mating drive made it necessary. The males became conquerors of worlds, while the females became pacifists, content to remain in peace on their homeworld.
Among the Brotherhood's conquest attempts are the Zen-Whoberis, of which Gamora is a member, and the extra-dimensional world of Polemachus. They have been known to form alliances with the Brood.

The Brotherhood are capable of faster-than-light space travel and also possess personal cloaking technology. They employ a hand-held particle gun called the 'basic weapon'. There is also a large, muscular cyborg-like being sometimes used in personal combat called the 'Monster of Badoon'.

The Brotherhood is most closely associated with the Guardians of the Galaxy's timeline. In this reality, Earth fought a war with them in the 2990s until both Earth and its solar system colonies were conquered in the year 3007. They were liberated by the intervention of the Sisterhood in 3014.
In the Earth-93112 timeline, the Badoon Master Ecclaw was one of the last survivors of the Intergalactic Alliance destroyed by the Magus. On an unidentified planet he cared for the survivors and trained Maxam and Zhang as warriors, intending to send one of them back in time to destroy the Magus' "larval stage," Adam Warlock, intending that changing the past would save their universe.
In another timeline, the Badoon were conquered by Kang.
