Badgerys Creek, New South Wales
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Badgerys Creek is a suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It is in the Local Government Area of the City of Liverpool and is adjacent to Kemps Creek and Austral. Its postcode is 2555.
It is notable for having been the proposed site for a second international airport for Sydney but no action has taken place - there is currently both lobbying from a NIMBY and aircraft noise standpoint for Western Sydney and aircraft noise in the nearby Mascot region, which has been temporarily alleviated by introducing curfew times to Sydney Airport.
