From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

BadCow was a popular affiliate program for email spammers.

It was launched on Feb 2004 and discontinued in Aug 2005. It offered a few popular sites for spammers to advertise including sites selling pirated software, generic drugs, and fake watches. Spammers were paid a percentage of sales generated through their unsolicited ad campaigns.

The affiliate program employed a few hundred affiliates and was believed to be the biggest affiliate program for spammers on the Net. The anti-spammers gave it a name of "RSG", which stands for Russian Spam Gang led by Leo Kuvayev.
