Paul McCartney of The Beatles was present during the Dakotas recording of the song at Abbey Road Studios. A demo of The Beatles original acoustic version of 'Bad To Me', which consists of both John Lennon and Paul McCartney singing and playing acoustic guitar, exists amongst collectors. The song was also recorded on the album "From a Window," a set of 17 songs that Lennon and McCartney gave to other artists, which was released in 2003.
