Bad Karma Entertainment

Bad Karma Entertainment (also known as Bad Karma) is an independent hip hop record label based in New York City, United States.

Bad Karma Entertainment was founded in March 2006 by Rick Garrabrant. Formely a video and film production company known as Bad Karma Productions, the company decided to turn its attention towards the music industry. The label started small with only one band and two hip-hop artists and geared up for the label’s official launch in September 2006.

Since Bad Karma’s official launch, they have built up a powerful roster of more than twenty artists that stretches up and down the east coast and all across America. Bad Karma now encompasses many different styles of hip-hop amongst its diversified artists and continues to grow each month.

Bad Karma Entertainment has gone from a concept to a movement for independent artists everywhere and has the potential to become a major powerhouse in the music industry within the next five years.

Bad Karma has released two promotional CDs since its launch to draw attention to the label’s release schedule for 2007. With at least sixteen albums, EPs, and compilations ready to hit stores in 2007, Bad Karma is ready to establish its name in the independent music scene. With the support of Horrorible Records, Bad Karma has nationwide and international distribution in place for its releases as well as new distribution deals that will take effect in the new year.
