Bad Harzburg

Harzburg-Spa is a spa-town in the centre of Germany, in the Goslar district, Lower Saxony. It has a population of 24,994 as of December 2003. Between 1065-1068 a castle was built there but was destroyed so only ruins remain today. A cable car runs up the castle hill. In 1892 it was given the title "Bad" (=Bath) and started to become an important tourist attraction. The postal zip code is 38667.
