Bad Astronaut

Bad Astronaut is an indie/punk rock band founded in 2000 by Joey Cape, singer from Lagwagon. In Bad Astronaut, Joey Cape explores a new style of pop, with lyrics often about deep and intricate personal matters.
A follow-up to the 2002 album, Houston: We Have A Drinking Problem is currently in the works and is expected for release on November 14th, 2006. The title of the new album is Twelve Small Steps, One Giant Disappointment and is mentioned on the band's MySpace page, [1]. The new release will be through Fat Wreck Chords.
