"Back to Life" was a 1989 single from Soul II Soul.
From their debut album Club Classics Vol. I, (Keep On Movin' in the USA). It featured British R&B singer Caron Wheeler and gained success in both the UK and in the USA. It peaked at #4 on The Billboard Hot 100 becoming one of their most successful singles in the USA and the only one to enter in the top 10 of the Hot 100, back home it did even better reaching #1 on the UK singles chart for four weeks in June 1989.
