Back 2 '93 is the 9th album and 2nd compilation album by Janet Jackson. Back 2 '93 will be release worldwide on March,18, 2007. This album finished her album contract from Virgin Records, which is Janet record label since 1993 album, janet. Despite of the end of contract, Janet confirmed that she and her boyfriend, Jermaine Dupri, has made a new record label called Strawberry Records, and it will be her record label after Virgin Records.

Back 2 '93 includes Janet's previous singles, Including That's The Way Love Goes, Together Again, All For You, Call On Me, and two new songs, Mother Life and It's U. for Japan exclusive album, also includes the remix version of So Excited. The album ends with The Conversation of Janet, Jermaine Dupri, Jimmy and Terry Lewis. There were a few singles that wasn't added for this album, like Go Deep, Got 'Til It's Gone, and So Excited.
