Bacho Kiro Cave
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Bacho Kiro Cave is one of the most visited Bulgarian caves. The cave is North of the Dryanovo Monastery, not far from the Andaka cave. Although the first part of the cave has been well explored much of the cave remains unstudied. Traces of human life and work devices, dating back to the Middle and Upper Paleolithic Age have been found in the cave. The Cave is one of the main tourist attractions of the region. It offers a variety of limestone formations (mainly in the second part - the Rain Hall).
