Bachelor of Engineering (India)

In India , Bachelor of Engineering ( B.E) is a degree which is awarded by an accredited university on sucessfully completion of a 4 year course . The 4 year course consists of 8 semester and a project in final year.Only student from science stream at +2 level ( XI and XII) are eligible for Bachelor of Engineering course.
Students are admitted on bases of std XII marks or State - Commom Entrance Test ( CET) or Demeed University entrance Exam or centralized All India Engineering Entrance Examination ( AIEEE ).
A Bachelor of Engineering will usually be undertaken in one of the fields:

- Automobile engineering

Some universities and colleges like Indian Institute of Technology award Bachelors of Technology ( B . Tech )instead of Bachelor of Engineering.
On completiton of B.E or B.Tech students cam apply for Master of Engineering , Master of Technology or Master of Science (Engineering).
