Hello. Your editing of linear regression prompts this comment: Instead of writing dogs, write dogs. That has exactly the same effect and is more efficient. Similarly apocryphal and the like. Michael Hardy 01:19, 4 Apr 2004 (UTC)
Thanks for the tip, Michael. -Pat User_talk:Babbage/Todo

[edit] Nice fast efficient edit
Good work on the re-edit of my edit on Sudan, I was going to make a similar change, hit an edit conflict, and your version is better. Thanks, keep up the good work!Pedant 21:20, 2004 Nov 9 (UTC)
Hi Babbage, the panoramic photo of Bethesda was taken from the roof of the Marriott hotel on Waverly Street (right across from the Air Rights building where Ruth's Chris is). Steven 02:48, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Sudan Project
Good suggestion. I'll contribute a few things. Mr. Billion 06:46, 10 Nov 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Second welcome
Some more quicklinks for your enjoyment. You might also want to add your Sudan project as a link from the Systemic Bias wikiproject. +sj.+ 09:57, 3 Dec 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Wikipedia:Spanish Translation of the Week
I would like to revive Spanish Translation of the Week. Are you interested in working on it? — J3ff 05:59, 21 Feb 2005 (UTC)

[edit] SpaTra
You showed support for the Spanish Translation of the Week. This week es:Conquista de Hispania was chosen to be translated to Conquest of Hispania/Translation.

Hi, you tagged this as a copyvio, but it's not. The link you specify was indeed my primary source, but I included information from the other links I listed in the References section as well. Additionally, copyvio tagging is a two-step process. You also have to list it in WP:CP. Regards, howcheng {chat} 06:22, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Mass content adding, next step
After a long time, a week ago I started to work again on the project Mass content adding. And after some suggestions, I realized that the best place for localization of the content is WiktionaryZ (http://www.wiktionaryz.org). The main problem with working on content on Meta is because Meta is strictly GFDL licensed and WZ is double licensed (GFDL and CC-BY), which makes work on Meta incopatable with work on WZ (and CC-BY should be used for all data because we don't need any kind of complex license for data). --millosh (talk (sr:)) 02:25, 27 August 2006 (UTC)
The next step is to translate names of the countries, including all names' cases. I am not sure in what languages you want to participate, so, please, send me a list of them with the case system of that languages (what number of numbers / singular, plural, .../ what are the cases /nominative, genitive, dative.../) so I can make templates for languages in which you want to work. You can contact me via email (millosh@gmail.com), too. --millosh (talk (sr:)) 02:25, 27 August 2006 (UTC)
Feel free to call anyone to join the translation in any other language. Also, headquarters for the project is on the meta page, but there are a lot of issues which should be done on WZ (like cases templates; you can see an examples on http://wiktionaryz.org/Countries, http://wiktionaryz.org/Countries/srp, http://wiktionaryz.org/Countries/rus). --millosh (talk (sr:)) 02:25, 27 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Category:Earliest Documents by Language
Great idea with this category! However, I moved it to Category:Earliest known manuscripts by language, in order to fit the style of Wikipedia, as words in category names should not start with capital letters. bogdan 17:04, 20 September 2006 (UTC)
- Also, often they are not the earliest, but earliest known or surviving. bogdan 17:08, 20 September 2006 (UTC)
