B.J. Ward is an American actress. She prefers the initials to her given name, Betty Jean. She is the creator and star of Stand-Up Opera, a musical one-woman show, as well as being a licensed pilot and former Playboy bunny.

Ward is married to Gordon Hunt. Her animation voice credits include Scarlett in the cartoon G.I. Joe, the title role on Jana of the Jungle, Wonder Woman in the various Super Friends series (as well as the short-lived Superman series of the late 1980s), M3 in the 1995 Batman: The Animated Series episode "The Lion and the Unicorn", and Velma Dinkley in Scooby-Doo. She capitalized her career with Voltron: Defender of the Universe, as the Princess, Allura. She has also done voices for video games, including Grandia II, Dark Chronicle, Jade Empire, Demon Stone and Baldur's Gate II.
