Two acquisitions were made in 2004: firstly Connexn Technologies, a U.S.-based cost and revenue assurance company, and secondly Anite Calculus Limited, a UK-based telecommunications software company specialising in interconnect, billing, rating and settlement applications.
In 2005 Azure announced that it had secured $15 million of funding from various investors including New Venture Partners (who had managed the spin-out from BT), Doughty Hanson Technology Ventures and Intel Capital, the strategic investment program of Intel.
