Axel Whittaker was a fictional character from Highlander: The Series, portrayed by Rob Stewart. He is an Immotal.

Axel Whittaker was born in 1567 in Stockholm, Sweden. His most distinct feature about him is a white streak in his hair. Axel grew up around a lot of women and seen the lifestyles of the rich men and their women. He seduced a lot of women. In 1601, he later on made the mistake of seducing a minister's daughter and was shot for it and died. Axel became Immortal and later on, met his teacher, Bjorn Gustavson, who teaches Axel about being Immortal. Axel later on became a slick ladies man in "The Game", he would use younger female Immortals to lure older Immortals and then take their heads.
In 1896 Boston, he used a younger female Immortal named Sharon Collins to lure Immortal Duncan MacLeod to him, but Duncan gets away. Axel is not pleased and takes Sharons head because she wants to leave Axel, Axel leaves the place.
In 1994, Axel meets a young female Immortal named Michelle Webster. He convinces her to go with him and take her places. Michelle is the friend of Duncan MacLeod. Axel plans to use Michelle for his own purpose. Later on, he is on a boat with Michelle, she calls Duncan and Axel talks to Duncan, telling him to meet him at the pier. Duncan arrives and convinces Michelle to listen to him, she runs off and Axel is not pleased. Axel and Duncan go at it with their sword. Duncan defeats Axel and takes his head.
