AXA Center

The AXA Center (originally The Equitable Tower) is a 229 metre (752 foot) tall skyscraper in New York City. It was built in 1986 to house the AXA Group. Current cornerstone tenants include BNP Paribas, Sidley Austin LLP, and Citigroup. It is located at 787 Seventh Avenue, New York, New York.
The tower has 54 floors which include a 100 seat auditorium, a number of restaurants and a fitness club.
The atrium features a mural by Roy Lichtenstein called "Mural with Blue Brushstroke" which he completed in 1986 to improve the atrium.

A Tour AXA, which is hosting the international headquarters of the company, also exists in Paris La Défense. The tower is currently 159 metre tall, but a strong renovation should begin during 2007, which will result in the enlargement of the tower to reach 225 metres.
