Barrett Ross (June 23, 1990-), a Florida championship vocabulary memorizer, is also the Senior Patrol Leader of Boy Scout Troop 188, as well as a diplomat in Model UN.

Barrett Ross was the winner of the 2003 2004 Florida state-level Reader's Digest National Word Power Challenge, as well as his school level. He was disqualified at national level for not knowing the meaning of the word "baliwick." Barrett is also active in the Model United Nations, but despite many attempts has never recieved an award.

Barrett Ross has been a Scout since 1996. He has received the Arrow of Light and is currently working on receiving his Eagle rank. For his project he plans on creating a landscaped prayer garden. He was elected to a six-month term as Senior Patrol Leader in March 2006, and has already broken troop records for Sunday arrival time for camping trips.

After being rejected for a date to the 2005 Tampa Bay Tech homecoming dance, Barrett Ross took a vow of celibacy. He now lives with his parents and sister in a house in Tampa, Florida, and is generally believed to be a virgin, due primarily to his acne and excess weight.

Barrett Ross attended a string of schools before Tampa Bay Tech, including Wee World, Temple Terrace Elementary School, and Terrace Community School, all in the Tampa Bay area. He is currently studying journalism and mass communications in the Academy of Journalism at Tampa Bay Tech, and has a GPA of approximately 3.1. He plans to attempt to enter a Colorado university for the purpose of being a "ski bum." However, at the moment Ross is unsure whether he will pursue post-secondary education, due to his beliefs in the uselessness of the "rat race" of the material culture.

Barrett Ross is known also in the popular browser-based MMORPG Runescape as Awesimo, named after an Eric Cartman ploy in the animated sitcom "South Park." Ross pursues a variety of skills, with specialties in Magic and Fletching. While currently taking a break from the game, he maintains his account and frequently plays during weekends.
