Awbridge FC are a village football team based near Romsey in Hampshire who have played in the county league since 1968.

The club, well known for their red and black playing strip, were founded in 1912 and spent their early days playing in local village leagues before joining the Salisbury League in 1925. After great success they joined the Southampton League where they proceeded to climb up through the Junior ranks.

Post war Awbridge enjoyed countless successes as they climbed into the Senior section. The Sixties saw the club continue to thrive as they twice won the Southampton Premier League, Southampton Senior Cup and Hampshire Intermediate Cup.

These successess let to the club gaining Hampshire League status in 1968 where they remained ever since, alternating between the divisions, experiencing good and bad times along the way.

Sadly in 2002 the club was forced to vacate their traditional Village Hall Field home after 75 years due to a number of reasons. In order to continue they joined forces with friendly local rivals Michelmersh & Timsbury of the Southampton League who were also experiencing problems. The side become absorbed into the M&T Sports Club and played under the banner of M&T Awbridge until 2006 when they became simply Michelmersh & Timsbury. Although the Awbridge name is no more the club lives on under a new identity.
