[edit] History
A pre-Immortal Jew born in Jerusalem, he lived in the city at the time of the siege by the Romans. He managed to escape right before the city was conquered. He crossed the desert with his father in his back and reached Masada which had been conquered by the Zealots from the Romans. There he met Deborah, the sister of the city’s commander, whom he married. After three years, the Romans were finally able to conquer Masada. Its inhabitants decided to sacrifice themselves. Mordecai killed all of his family and committed suicide. He awakened as an Immortal at the time of Marcus Constantine’s arrival, the Roman commander. Constantine took Mordecai with him to Rome and taught him the rules of the Immortals. He would later settle in Warsaw where, during the Second World War, he belonged to a Jewish organization inside the Jewish ghetto that resisted the Nazi armies. He fought in the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising alongside Duncan MacLeod, which resulted in a massacre of the Jews. After that, Mordecai reinforced his resolution to protect the Jews from the whole world. After the war, he went to Israel where he took part in the construction of the country by integrating the secret service. Not believing in the peace between Jews and Palestinians, he conducted numerous killings on both sides to ensure that the war would continue. During the Paris peace negotiations for the Middle East in 1996, he would reencounter Constantine and MacLeod. He tried to do everything for it to fail while establishing a climate of mistrust. Becoming paranoid when Duncan bonded with a Palestinian negotiator, he tried to kill the negotiator. When Duncan and Constantine tried to stop him, he killed his former mentor before being killed by Duncan MacLeod.
