Please try to avoid trite expressions and to use the most concise language. Many of these expressions will later be replaced by the correct wording by Wikipedia "grammar bots".

"due to the fact that" or "because of the fact that" or "by virtue of the fact that"; should become "because"
"at the present time"; should become "as of 2006" (using the current year)
