[edit] Criticisms...

It would be great if someone could add some of these points about Avie to the article when they have time... [1] [2]. PaulC/T+ 03:25, 28 March 2006 (UTC)

Please don't. Those two articles come from a webdesigner with dubious expertise in computing. That guy is a dissapointed classic Mac user who want's to keep resource forks and type and creator codes instead of file extensions. That's what those articles are mostly about. And they are rather inflammatory. So, I don't think personal attacks should have room on wikipedia. Regards, Udo (I don't have a wikipedia account, I thought it would show my IP instead of a signature?
Edit on April 28th 06 to add: Hm, not much use to post this I guess, as someone really has put a link to Grubers site under the article. Fair view point my *** ...
Well, the link in the article is different than the above links and much more positive of Avie. Nonetheless, there have been some decisions he has made about OS X that many people have problems with. These criticisms should be part of this article. PaulC/T+ 20:22, 16 May 2006 (UTC)

Just establishing something questioned by some users: Avie Tevanian is of Armenian descent, even though Tevanian might also be an Iranian name: http://www.xent.com/spring97/0355.html BeteNoir 02:13, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
