Aviogenex is an airline based in Belgrade, Serbia. It operates regular and ad hoc charter flights, as well as ad-hoc charters and aircraft wet-lease services. Its main base is Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport.

The airline was established in April 1968 and started operations in May 1968. It was founded as the air transport division of Generalexport, an enterprise for foreign and domestic trade, tourism and air transport. The first flight was made March 3, 1969 with Tupolev Tu-134 aircraft.
The best year for the company was 1990 when the company had 633,932 passengers. Due to UN sanctions, international flight operations were suspended from June 1992 to October 1994. Operations again ceased following the Kosovo conflict, but restarted from November 2000.
Aviogenex has 212 employees and 1 airplane (set to expand 2006). It is 100% owned by the Genex Holding Corporation.
[edit] Plans for 2006
The airplanes of Aviogenex will fly under the flagship of Serbia and Sudan from Khartoum to 25 destinations on the west coast of Africa. The airplanes of this company realized 1862 hours of flight in 2005, which means that the year 2005 was one of the most successful in 37 years of operations of the company.
In 2006, the new airplanes of type Boeing 737-300 and Boeing 737-400 will be introduced, so that everybody is ready for the forthcoming reorganization of company International CG, the part of which is Aviogenex.

Aviogenex's only aircraft has been leased to Sudan Airways, which leaves Aviogenex with no aircraft.

On September 26, 2006 Aviogenex sold it’s 3 Boeing 727-200ADV's to American company Pennant Aviation for $543.000 USD. The registrations of the aircraft were YU-AKM, YU-AKD and YU-AKH. [citation needed]

Once again, Aviogenex have wet leased their Boeing 737-200 (YU-ANP) aircraft to Sudan Airways on a 1 year contract.
