Avicenna School was founded in 1996, sponsored by the College of Accounting & Management Sciences (CAMS), which is among the best accounting schools of Pakistan[citation needed].

It is a co-educational institution, founded with the aim to abolish private tuitions for Advanced Level (A-level) as they were expensive. In year 2000 Ordinary Level (O-level) was introduced and later junior classes were started.
