Ayon bhai the main article's name is Mobile phone, and cellular phone redirects to it. I'm not sure why you saw a red link. Could you tell me if you see this again? --Ragib 16:53, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
Hey, I replied to both of your messages in my talk page. Thanks. --Ragib 08:04, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
By the way, would you create articles on the schools and colleges of Rajshahi (assuming you were from there)...? My friend shmitra is from there and has created some on Rajshahi College and Rajshahi Collegiate School, but more schools and colleges can be added. --Ragib 04:41, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, Amaro mone jaha chilo beta kemone parilo ta janite (quote from Juta Abiskar by Rabindranath, dont mind). I am from Rajshahi and now working in Rangpur. I am collecting information on different schools and colleges of Rajshahi and Rangpur. I wish to write the articles soon. I have already started an article on my own school (Masjid Mission Academy, Rajshahi).By the way, can I upload some images (of these schools, famous places etc.)taken with my mobile phone? And if images taken with mobile phone is accepted, I can try to take images as required for the bangladesh related articles of wikipedia
-
- Great ... I had started Rangpur Zilla School, you can expand that. How good are the photos taken with your mobile phone? If the resolution is ok, feel free to upload them to commons, with CC or GFDL as license tag, and Category:Bangladesh as category. If you place them to commons, we can use them in wikipedias in all languages. --Ragib 04:54, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
- Here is a sample for your preview, Ragib Bhai.[1]Is the resolution ok? if it is then i shall replace this image with a better one,as it is taken under a cloudy sky.
-
- Looks good enough to me. Please create an account in wikimedia commons and upload pictures with the GFDL or CC self tags, and category Bangladesh. Thanks. --Ragib 05:47, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
Check out Naf River and Rangpur Zilla School. Already used two of your nice images. Thanks a lot for the photos ... keep up the work. --Ragib 18:04, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Hi,
Of course, you will enrich the page on SF! I have written 6 chapters on Bangla SF in a book but can’t...
This can be a long gap, my left hand thumb is badly hurt and I just can’t compose! Had a long preparation for many more new entries. Heart is sunk. I've found many FRIENDLY countrymen here, THANKS!!!

[edit] Rajshahi
I just noticed your work on the article Rajshahi and greatly appreciate it, thanks. It is not an impossibility that this should become a featured article at some point.--ppm 04:30, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks a lot for your encouraging words. I am not clear till now what and how to make an article FA, but surely i would love to see this article having FA status. May I ask for your help?
- Have you noticed the image of Varendra Research Museum? I shall try to get higher standard pictures of both the inside and outside of the museum...how about trying to make varendra museum a FA also? -Auyon 11:20, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
-
- Simply stated, here is how an article becomes FA. Someone (or a group of people) writes the article with enough pictures, and inline references, then requests a (or a number of) peer reviews. Many issues arise from these peer reviews. After dealing with all of these, one submits the article for FA status, and other wikipedians will support or object. Depending on the response, a comittee finally accepts of rejects the nominations. Look up Rabindranath Tagore or Bangladesh (and specially their talk pages, where the peer reviews etc are archived)--ppm 16:09, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
I will. Also, Satyajit Ray is up as a Featured Article Candidate. You might find it interesting to see the process. Feel free to leave comments as well.--ppm 23:35, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Bengali novels
- Your idea about Bengali Novels is really praiseworthy. However, it contains far too much subjective commentary, that is not encyclopedic. Look up NPOV. Good luck,--ppm 02:58, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks. I shall try my best. Perhaps you can help, if u have time? Auyon 05:17, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] link to Persian
Hello, when you want to link to the article about something Persian, please do not link to Persian, as that is a disambiguation page (which nothing should be linked to). Instead link to the one of the options found on that page such as Persian people, Persian language, or Iran, by writing out [[Persian language|Persian]] or [[Iran|Persian]]. [edit] Thanks
Thanks Auyon Bhai for your congratulations :) Sayutee 18:07, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] RU Alumni
Hi, I need some help concerning famous Alumni of Rajshahi University. If any prominent names occur to you, let me know--ppm 23:06, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
thanx. If we get even a few more names, I think we can try for a featured article candidacy, which would be great.--ppm 00:14, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
