Hmm... Why is this category limited just to automotive? Seems better to include other types of brakes and form Category:Brake or Category Brakes. Or, letting this category remain and making a supercat (i.e. cat:brake or brakes) might be the way? - Marsian / talk 09:34, 12 July 2005 (UTC)

  • Sounds fine to me...or this could be generalized to Category:Vehicle brakes? --Hooperbloob 14:56, 12 July 2005 (UTC)
A-ha. I don't know so much about brakes, but if they must be with vehicles, both seem ok to me, and in case I prefer just "Categoty:Brakes". But well, I'm not sure: Is an elevator a vehicle...? (I guess some of them have some kind of (emergency?) brake system) - Marsian / talk 05:29, 13 July 2005 (UTC)
Maybe "Motor vehicle brakes" to cover motorcycles and semis too? --InteriotAWB 07:51, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
"Vehicle braking technologies" would cover all the above. --Hooperbloob 05:49, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
