Autonomous system

Autonomous system can mean different things:
- On the Internet, an autonomous system is a collection of IP networks under the control of a single entity; see autonomous system (Internet).
- In mathematics, an autonomous system is a certain kind of system of differential equations; see autonomous system (mathematics).
- In robotics and when describing such things as autonomous vehicles, an autonomous system is one that operates within an environment and is capable of independent decision and action in pursuit of its objectives.
