AutoExtra is a division of Cox Auto Trader Inc. A free publication magazine for many years, AutoExtra has established a firm place in the automotive classified industry. AutoExtra.com not only provides an extensive network of used cars for sale, it also contains a vehicle Research Center where a visitor can read car reviews, safety recalls and vehicle crash test data.
Established as a web site on February 14, 2005 - AutoExtra.com began as the second largest database of used cars on the web. It is one of the few "complete" web sites with both dealerships and individual sellers, or "private party" sellers.
AutoExtra.com is based in Virginia Beach, Virginia operating out of a 5 story office building located very close to the new Virginia Beach town center. AutoExtra.com's home office supports a sales team in 38 states around the United States selling classified advertising in both print publications and the online site.
