Talk:Australian rules football around the world
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Souldn't this be Australian rules football around the world.
- this title is misleading.
I agree. If there's no complaints, we can move it? Internal wiki links will still redirect here.
I believe you should take a look at Portal:Australian rules football and considering adding the information on International aussie rules to its relevant section. Rogerthat Talk 03:52, 25 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Opening para
The opening para currently says: "Most of these competitions no longer exist and the game is played in Australia only, however, the largest overseas competition is the Ontario Australian Football League, with 12 teams scheduled to compete in 2006. Separate from their local competitions, North American fans have formed an organization..." Is it true to say most no longer exist? I would have thought that most of the ones cited do in fact continue to exist. ρ¡ρρµ δ→θ∑ - (waarom? jus'b'coz!) 04:43, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] World Ranks
How can a team be ranked number 1 in a comp. that it does not even play in? There is no doubt Australia would be number 1 but they dont even play in that comp. It makes no sence having them in that list. Tiger Woods would be the best player in the Victorian Golf Ranks. Hes not there because he does not compete for these ranks. It should be the same case here. We need to get rid of australia in the rankings. --220.237.166.156 12:32, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
