[edit] Steve's death
Going along with the above comment, I don't think it's entirely relevent to mention his death just yet. Saying "Steve Irwin died" doesn't add anything to the information on the Zoo. What is important (for this article) is what Steve's death will mean for the zoo, and for that, we might have to wait to see what comments are made. Iorek85 05:57, 4 September 2006 (UTC)
- Some anon editor has put it in. I say leave it in for now it will prevent others from adding it in again, likely at lower quality writing style, leading to long revert wars with unaware editors who don't read talk pages. Remove it once everything calms down.--Konstable 11:07, 4 September 2006 (UTC)
- Removed section on Steve Irwin's death as it had no content relating to the zoo. More detail on Steve Irwin in his own article. -- MightyWarrior 19:26, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

Please add [[es:Zoológico de Australia]] to this article.
[edit] improvements
(Improvements In the meantime, the zoo has encompassed a large area, in which many animals live. In order to reduce long walks, a shuttle train has been implemented, which operates on a custom-designed track.)
Would it be best to say that a shuttle 'train' operates on a dedicated roadway? It makes it sound more like a miniture train then anything. Or a 'modified trailered bus'?
Also, that island is still not accessible and nowhere near complete, there has been plenty of news released on the latest animals and sections. Just thought you'd like to know
(The zoo also runs a care station for these animals.)
Don't want to be a pain, it's actually a charity that runs it with everything paid for by the zoo (sticking point, I know)
