Australasian Union of Jewish Students

The Australasian Union of Jewish Students (AUJS) is a federation of Jewish student societies at Australian and New Zealand universities and other higher education institutions. It was founded in 1948 at the University of Sydney and is affiliated with the World Union of Jewish Students. It organises social gatherings and does political lobbying for Jewish causes.

All of the organization's activities are based on the four pillars of Judaism, Zionism, Pluralism and Activism.

AUJS operates on federal, regional and campus levels. Most Regional organizations have a representative on the federal Executive. Similarly, each campus organization has a representative on that region's executive.
