Auli is a town in Uttaranchal, a state of India, which is considered one of the best places in India to do skiing.

Auli, is a 20 minutes Ropeway ride from Joshimath, which is on the way to the famous Kedarnath (A pilgrimage in India). Joshimath is 16 hours drive from Delhi. One can also reach Roorkee, Rishikesh or Hardwar by train, and then catch a bus/cab afterwards.

Auli is a very serene hill station. It offers very good treks to places around and is a good ski resort from November - March depending on snowfall. The ropeway from Joshimath to Auli is one of the longest in India covering a distance of 4.15 kms.
