Aukrug

Aukrug is a municipality in the district of Rendsburg-Eckernförde, in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. It is situated approx. 13 km west of Neumünster, and 35 km southwest of Kiel.
Aukrug is also the seat of the Amt ("collective municipality") Aukrug, which consists of the following municipalities (population in 2005 between brackets):

- Ehndorf (614)
- Padenstedt (1.347)
- Wasbek (2.176)
