Augustus "Cole Train" Cole is a fictional character in Epic Games' third-person shooter, Gears of War. He is one of the survivors of Alpha Squad, along with Baird.

Augustus "Cole Train" Cole is a member of the mostly deceased Alpha Squad. Prior to the events in Gears of War he was a "Thrashball"(a sport presumed to be similar to American football played on Sera before Emergence Day) player. He craves action, and prefers to take the most direct path to the Locust Horde in any situation. What he lacks in finesse, he makes up for in raw energy and strength.

Along with his child-like enthusiasm and charm, Cole is supremely confident in his own abilities to overcome anything, regardless of the odds—and he hasn't been proven wrong yet.

Cole and Damon Baird have served together for years, and he treats Baird as he would an older brother with a younger brother's license to torment.

Lester Speight AKA Mighty Rasta voiced Augustus Cole. Lester Speight is more famously known for his acting roles as "Terrible" Terry Tate made for Reebok. A possible nodded to Lester's past role is Cole's nickname, Cole Train, bearing similarity to Terry Tate's nick name, "Pain Train".
